My Personal Experience in Microsoft Application

Having the knowledge about different Microsoft application would be a lot advantage to our part especially that today's world is considered to be a world of competition.

MICROSOFT WORD

The most remembered experience I once had was when i was in first year college in this institution, Visayas State University- it was on first semester then. Our teacher in SocSci 14  assigned us to give a reaction paper regarding on the certain article about CARP. She emphasized that the output to be submitted must be encoded. The term "encoded" really brought me to much worries in the sense that I don't have even a single knowledge on how to use the computer. The incident exhaust ed me badly that it  made me more diligent in seeking for help so that i can submit my reaction paper on time. I spent and wasted a lot of money upon doing my work  because I have limited knowledge on that certain application and also my speed in typing was very impossible. I didn't even know how to use most of the icons and toolbar found on the screen. Every time I used the computer for encoding, I often turned around because I am too conscious somebody might be looking at me and they might laugh at me. I am too scared to be humiliated because of that thing.At long last, the first semester has ended and after two weeks we were already in second semester. That was the time the computer subject was being offered. I am among of those students who felt very much excited in a way that at last I will be taught how to use the computer as well as its different functions. The first time we were exposed to the Microsoft word application brought me too much fun and I treasured the moment most. In that very moment I was able to know the different uses of those different icons and that I was acquainted  to the various functions, the details on the manipulation to make my work even more presentable than before such as on how to justify the text so that it would appear pleasing to look at.

POWERPOINT APPLICATION

If the Microsoft application brought me  so much fun, this PowerPoint application amused me too much. Seeing those words and picture appear and disappear in various ways with all the colors and beauty on it really catches my interest and will to know to create my own presentation. Together with the Microsoft application, the PowerPoint application was also being taught to us. We were also made to create our own presentation but it was done by pair. We were given two weeks for us to accomplish the said task. Right after having the PowerPoint, we were made to report and present our work to he whole class. After every presentation, our teacher gave us her comments and suggestions for a better output by the next time we will be making PowerPoint presentation.
In whatever I am and what I have now, my knowledge about this application is  the result of my untiring interest to know it because deep in my heart I have this feeling that this application is very much important for me in the future. My flaws and weaknesses before that i have been encounter were the great help for me to make and produce a presentation which is though not perfect but at least presentable. After having the knowledge about the PowerPoint application, I was able to made some presentation both in my reports and even in my Field Study subject. And I feel great about it.

MICROSOFT EXCEL

Before, I never have thought that solving such complicated computation can now be done in just a click of the finger using the Microsoft Excel. I wonder how this things work and where this can be done?
  Among the three application namely the Microsoft word, PowerPoint and the Microsoft Excel, I considered  the Microsoft excel to be the most complicated. I said so because when my teacher introduced this to us, I hardly get it and I need to go it over again and again. In using the Microsoft excel for the computation, we need to use different format and use different character in computing. We need to be very much careful in doing our work because if not we won't be arriving the the right answer as what we expect. Even at this point, I can only recall a little in Microsoft excel its because we need to memorize every detail of it. Aside from that, I haven't been using this certain application in my day to day life as a student. However, I know that this Application would be very much essential for me, equally essential to the rest of the application mention above. As a future teacher, this Microsoft Excel would be used as often just like in computing the grades of the pupils. Though I found this application complicated, still I never take this things for granted. Until now, I still want to know more about this and even master the application.








   

Being A Teacher

In education, a teacher is a person who provides schooling for pupils and students. A teacher, who facilitates education for an individual student may also be described as a personal tutor. Teachers are vitally important to the advancement of every society. Almost every country in the world has teachers. This is because it is virtually impossible for a society to operate with the education that teachers provide. Yet, teacher salaries range quite a bit across the world. Since a salary provides a standard of living for a professional and his or her family, it is important to take a look at teacher salaries across the world.

Being a teacher is not an easy task. It requires you a lot of patient and perseverance in order for you to go through and perform such tedious yet fulfilling job a teacher ever had. A teacher may either give an inspiration to her/his students to love the subject or the other way around. To be a teacher, someone does not have to be an expert in a subject but can help direct the enquirer on paths they may not have thought about. Someone who knows how to live a life which is at peace and enjoyable and teaches a valuable skill.

Being a teacher, one must know how to stimulate curiosity but also can offer guidance and help to find out more to look for information. A successful teacher is someone who can correct mistakes without belittling the learner. It is often assumed that making someone feel small because of a mistake is being authoritative.

Me, as a future teacher I would like to be perfect but if not, at least closer to the ideal one. I know deep in my heart that being a teacher is more like being a mother to many children of different attitudes and preferences. Because of these, I set up and conditioned my mind that the value of patience and flexibility are really needed on this field of profession. Just like my aunt, I too want to be an instrument to lead the young towards their brighter future for the coming generations.

Student Life in Visayas State University - (VSU)

College life is said to be the most knowledgeable phase in the life of an individual, where he learns a lot about life. At the same time, it is the an extremely enjoyable time, when you make lots of friends, party throughout the night and lose yourself in the bliss that life offers.

As a student, my most memorable experienced was when I first enter the institution. Something bad happen on that day due to heavy rain made me so wet. I know some students experience also what had happen to me during that first day.

Since I am the type of a person that will only do the given assignments when almost running out of time, I often experience having a hard time coping up and catching the deadline of submission of a certain project. But being a student is not in other hand brings much joy to me especially when having bonding with my classmates and friends. One of the best memories that I have was when we were having our field trip to Palompon in our Ecology subject.

That was very awesome experience that I once have because in there i was able to see a Bat Kingdom, we slept in the stilt house in the middle of the sea and that we were just lying in a hammock. I together with my classmates and instructor were having so much fun when Geri, one of my classmates tell a lot of jokes.

Being a student in Visayas State University is one of the best experience that I will be having with me wherever I go.

College life reflects the best years of our life, which once gone, will never ever come back. So, it is advisable to make the most of them. In case you are about to join university and want to have an idea as to how it will turn out to be.

Me and Myself Trecela

Hi, I am Trecela L. Fornis Basically, I think I’m a positive and life-affirming person. In my mind, everybody can reach nearly every goal, in case he/she really believes in it. You just need a great portion of staying power, motivation, and enthusiasm - and I think, I do fulfill these “requirements”. At least till now, I was able to turn most of my dreams into reality - and some are still waiting to become reality.

I also believe that I’m patient and relatively calm - in the past, this wasn’t necessarily the case but certain events in my life changed this behavior. Even so, sometimes I still can be very quick-tempered.

Furthermore, I think that I’m quite quick-witted - I often come up with an answer like that and moreover, I do not just sit down and take things (especially those that bother me) like that. Unfortunately, that’s not always favorable - sometimes I have the feeling that people get a wrong impression of me - the impression that I always have to have the last word.

Apart from that, I’m curious and therefore I get relatively easy enthusiastic about certain ideas, things, etc. I also do not shrink back from challenges - on the contrary, most of the time I love to accept challenges.

Although I’m able to be spontaneous, I rather prefer to think over certain things in advance. Therefore, I sometimes have the problem of racking my brain over things, which do not occur in the end. But meanwhile, I’m working on this “problem”.

So, that’s all I want to give away (and believe, it was a bit hard for me) - however, I hope you were able to get a picture of me or meet my family (in case, you don’t know me personally).

About my family background I came from Baas, Hilongos Leyte. My Father's name is Benigno D. Fornis and my mother is Estelita L. Fornis.

I am the 13th child of the family. I am currently studying at Visayas State University. A junior student taking up Bachelor of Elementary Education. I love watching action movies during my leisure time. I also love to stroll with my close friends. I like people who are honest and can be trusted.

Moreover, I’m very reliable - if I promise something I’ll keep it. That’s why I can’t stand unreliable persons - if he/she is not able to hold onto things promised, then he/she should not promise anything.
